You can find the schist which is in contrast to the granites of Mont Lozere. The high temperatures and pressure helped in the development of these rocks. The stone has a flaking structure. This can hence be easily identified. You can find the schist areas concentrated around the granite lands. The soil derived from this stones is acidic in nature. Hence this is not suitable for the production of wheat.
