Due to the rocky nature of soil combined with aridity, it is obvious that plant growth will be limited. The plants have a low nature and are with short growing seasons. They have small waxy leaves or have fine hairs in place of them. Some areas are highly cultivated and this is suitable for growing wheat and rye. Here the water usually flows underground and disappears and as such plant types are not varied.
