Causses
General August 26th, 2008The main attraction that brought man to the Causses is the landscape. The fertile lands were used for the cultivation of wheat and barley. Common ground was used for the parturition of flocks. They can also retain moisture. The amount of plant growth is less in this region. Even now, only around 13% of the lands of Causses are being cultivated. The current landscape clearly shows the activities that existed there in the past.
